Before his last fight he was on a 4 fight winning streak and on the verge of a title shot. I think he just got caught in his last fight. I mean shit happens, GSP also got caught against Serra. It would be cool to see Andrei fight for the title once more and then retire in glory.

2. Arlovski's 4-fight win streak was all decisions against relative cans.

I imagine even Arlovski knows his championship window closed more than a decade ago.

He fights too careful now. I love him but he’s one of the most boring fighters on the roster. Virtually zero finishing rate now. That kind of guy is not going to win the title.

He’s gatekeeper to the top 10 rankings.

His wins were over a 5-7 in the UFC guy, a 1-6 guy, a 2-5 guy, and the only one with a winning record is 3-2 and hasn't fought in 2 years.

Probably wouldn't be great for claiming you're the top org if you have a guy with 21 losses fighting for the title.
