Can anybody see Matt Brown winning a title?

Probably not. He miiiiight have been able to decision Condit, but I'm not liking his chances against the wrestleboxers and grapplers in the top 5.

Then again, we have yet to see his GSP-level wrestling displayed.

Not a UFC title, as everyone already said. The top of the welterweight division beats brown 9.8/10 imo.

Nope but it will be a hell of a run

His chances are minimal, but really he is only two wins away from the belt IMO, so....I guess it is possible.

Seth Baczynski would get an instant title shot in that case

Either way though we know anything can happen in MMA. Also helps that his next opponent is possibly P4P the most overrated fighter on the roster right now

Like lawler, but will laugh if brown besmirches him like he did with silva

Nah... Won't happen. And we've seen this time and time again where a particular fighter is on the cusp of possibly fighting for the title but takes a difficult loss and descends down the ladder.

Matt Brown will be a gatekeeper in 1-2 years time.

He actually has pretty good wrestling now, he's been training it. But even if his chin hold up I'm not sure his stomach will.

Lawlor will be throwing nasty hooks to the body to test this theory.

i look forward to seeing him try, starting with Lawler.

i don't care about the chances of a and then b. i simply look forward to a, and whoever wins i look forward to b.
