His chin may have eroded a bit from that beating. There will come a time when his granite chin turns to glass if he keeps taking punishment. He's probably got some time until that happens.

This. I love JDS and have been pushing his darkhose GOAT chin discussion for a while now, but you'd be foolish to think even a legendary chin will always stay. I'm inclined to believe the argument that chin can/does fade with age. If you asked me if I thought Silva was going to get knocked out by Weidman, I'd have laughed in your face. Then it happened.
