Gary Lockett is calzaghe's stablemate? Joe's dad is not having the best year as coach, as far as his fighters winning is concerned...

calzaghe vs. pavlik would be good. I can respect Joe for making that decision. Calzaghe would woup kelly's ass.

    Best-case scenario:

    Calzaghe/Hopkins: Zag by UD

Pavlik/Lockett: Pavlik by Ring King uppercut

    Calzaghe/Pavlik: "This time it's personal!"

    Limey/Septic Tank trashtalks commence...... :D

After Hopkins beats him, he should fight Pavlik and lose again, then retire to Wales.

  8. thats my prediction

i love both fighters.....and i think Calzaghe would out class Pavlik. Calzaghe has so much speed, quickness, skill, and gives a ton of angles.

close fight, but Calzaghe wins by decision imo

Eh, why take a fight with a big puncher after that bitching by Calzaghe? Get a tune up first.

Kessler would whoop Pavlic and Hopkins ass. Kessler a tougher fight than Kelly and Bernard. interesting take out toughest of the 3 first.

Joey to take over the best America has to offer with no problems.

kessler cant find Hopkins. hed do better than tarver, but not much better. Im a big fan of kessler but he cant beat a master boxer who can control the pace, but mix it up like calzaghe and hopkins. too many dimensions for kessler who is much simpler a fighter

    Calzaghe wins both those fightscomfortably.

I'm sure Hopkins being the crafty general he is will find ways of stealing rounds, conventional or dirty. He

I honestly see Calzaghe stopping Pavlik, Pavlik will get totally outboxed. As I've said before his only real chance is a puncher's chance.

I think Zag would destroy Pavlik by a brutal one sided beating over 12 rounds. Pavliks heart ironically could even give Zag a KO win. I just don't see how Pavlik can beat Joe who has proven he has a tremendous chin and is faster, bigger and even higher workrate plus has the better boxing ability.

I worry more about the Hopkins fight because the referee is Joe Cortez. Coupled with Hopkins 'ring savy' (read dirty tactics) I think JC will be in for a very tough night. I still think he'll come through victorious with the UD.

Naah, Hopkins can take Kessler, especially after an elbow or two. Taylor or Pavlik would have a slight edge over Kessler IMO.

I say he doesn't, and as the fight's getting nearer I'm getting more confident he's not even making it past Hopkins. BHOP, with the help of fitness guru AKA steroid plug Mackie Shilstone, is unstoppable.

Pretty high praise for a guy who ducked Miranda to fight someone he already beat.

    Pavlik>Miranda, Miranda>Kessler, Pavlik>Kessler, Hopkins>Kessler, Abraham>Kessler, BHOP>Kessler, Winky>Kessler. Fuck why not Taylor>Kessler too, for good measure.
