Now you're being too nice, Kattar wins in 2.Kattar drops Conor within round 3.
That guy makes good highlights, but he doesn't really break it down much. For more in depth breakdowns of Kattar (albeit less production quality) Check out Brandon Dorman's film studies on him.
He's fallen short against some of the tall rangy strikers like Moicano and Zabit, so it'll be interesting to see how he does against another one of the taller featherweights like Holloway.
He's been beating some top level competition recently so if he's able to defeat Holloway it's definitely his breakthrough victory that will likely secure him a title shot in 2021.
It's a very good match up.
He didn't even have a muy thai coach when he fought moicano. I think he's improved a lot since then. After the zabit fight, I didn't leave that fight thinking Kattar was a worse fighter than zabit. He's learned a lot from those losses and is better than ever because of them. I'm looking forward to this fight.
It is so hard to believe shit like that... like Max pn rogan’s podcast:”yo i learned to strike from copying the ufc video game first half of my career”He didn't even have a muy thai coach when he fought moicano. Great video for those who aren't familiar with Calvin Kattar and his fights in the UFC. Can't wait for his fight with Max Holloway on Jan. 16th.
Enjoy!

I think he'll be ok, max is tall but not rangey at allHe's fallen short against some of the tall rangy strikers like Moicano and Zabit, so it'll be interesting to see how he does against another one of the taller featherweights like Holloway.

GTFO you hawaiian spongebob...
No.. you are completely stupid for thinking there's an MMA fighter in the biggest org (UFC) on teh proffesional level on teh world stage his gym didn't have a muay thai coach... IT'S 2019 FFS!Kattar is awesome and improving so much every fight. Him and Rob Font have been improving so much these last 2 years beating the shit out of each other in the gym everyday, it shows!
Not having a legit MT coach until later in your career and a UFC champion saying he learned to strike from the UFC video game is just a stupid comparison. I gotta put you on ignore, you've been ridiculous lately.
