I've seen the fight couple of times. WB got dropped in 5th and his leg got completely fucked up.

Pettis is on a definite slump. He isn't known for his wrestling so I don't know if there will be a threat of TD...it could be an odd sumission or a punch....I just don't see it. What can Pettis possibly do that Jorge, Rory, Darren & Whittaker wasn't able to....

 

If Wonderboy wants another title shot, he needs a dominant win. With Woodley out of the picture, this is the last train for him to get the belt. Pettis winning would be a big surprise for me, I just don't see the way he could do it.

 

If you called Pettis bringing back the cage kick for a ko in the last 10 seconds of the last round to shock the world. Then yes the world would be shocked.

 

The Barboza fight is the only exception imo. I think he was definitely set up to lose that one. Otherwise, even though I disagree and think WB will win a boring UD, really quality post.

 

Gaethje vs Barboza is on my mind every day. That matchup is why I love this sport. Unbreakable spirits meet. It's my new Tony/ Khabib.
