Pure Insanity at this point. We would rather treat people who arent citizens of the country better than home owners and tax payers. It goes on to talk about paying for more law enforcement to combat retail theft instead of changing the actual laws that enable said theft. It really feels like they are purposely trying to get rid of the entire middle class of california via these insane policies.

Being a Conservatarian (Conservative/Libertarian) in California is getting harder and harder. They are going to submit a single payer health care bill and they expect our taxes to double from it. That would be a deal breaker for me and the move will have to be made. My weather is world class. My beaches are pretty awesome, but the water is cold and I am used to that (I surf and free dive). I have been looking in Destin, FL, but the bugs, humidity, and lack of amazing restaurants.... anyways... fuck.

The states medicare system already takes care of poor natives. They just want illegals to have same benefit. I see no issue. They human beings too.

I see the unions fighting the hell out of this. All kinds of unions have sold health care plans as a cornerstone of their negation and benefits strategies.

Additionally the nurses and doctors are likely gonna fight this tooth and nail.

Illegals are going to use the healthcare system at some point. Would you want them to do so as a last resort, therefore using an emergency room or would you prefer they treat a symptom before it gets to that point? I understand the point that they shouldn't be there in the first place but CA depends on migrant workers to keep a large portion of their Ag business/home construction thriving. Providing preventative healthcare is less costly than having migrants use ER as their primary care facilities. And by providing preventative healthcare they can cut down on health costs and at the same time funnel tax dollars into that part of the system as it would be an expected cost instead of an emergency cost.
