Talk about wrestling at its best especially at HW.

How did you like those nice single legs and finishes.

It was a nice change from the normal DOuble leg shot from across the ring and body lock.

Cain has great technique and a big TD arsenol for a Big man.

I agree. Great stuff. You know he was an extremely undersized NCAAA D1 AA - lost in the semis his Sr year by a hair. Was even smaller than wrestling beasts who cut from 280+
He will be able to neutralize Lesnar and make it come down to striking I think.

Bets HW wrestling I have ever seen. He may not be as good as Brock Lesnar in amateur wrestling but MMA wrestling, he's the man. I was impressed with his cardio too. Like all those slams on a guy who outweighes you by like 30 pounds.... you would think would make you tired pretty fast! Cain looked like he was just getting warmed up lol!!

IT'S gonna be a while before he fights lesnar since lesnar/carwin isn't until January now. : /
but yeah his wrestling and scrambling is beautiful

I think his best bet of beating Lesnar is to incorporate more of a submission game. he will have a hard time hurting Lesnar standing and could get smashed himself, Cain was kinda rocked a few times by Kongo and that Stojnic fella

Lets jsut hope he can stnad up to Lesnar powerful approach, I think Cain is much more technical and fast/agile

Lets just hope that cain has the better gameplan, because imo hes not faster/stronger or more agile, he does imo have better timing and endurance though in my opinion. That said I think he stands a better chance than carwin against brock.

maybe faster is hard to decide

Lesnar is more explosive that is true but I think Cain ought to be quicker, if you understand what I mean.

He MUST be more agile, shit Lesnar is built like a refrigerator:D

if Cain gets a shot at Brock, i see Cain being put on his back and getting pounded. I don't think he'll be strong enough to defend BL's shot, or strong enough to take BL down. If their wrestling skill levels are comparable (imo Brock has the advantage) then the size and strength will weigh in as a huge factor. i also think that Brock has better hands/waaayyyy more KO power as well. i don't really see where Cain has a chance, unless he's been hiding some crazy flying gogoplata skills.

RAndy was able to defend for a while, Cain has youth, strength and size, he doesn't have to defend to keep it standing ALL the fight jsut enough time to counter

In my opinion Cain has better technique and a more versatile attack.

Brock is bigger and stronger and has great defense.

I think in pure wrestling Cain can hold his own, my question would be what happend if Brock gets him smothered against the cage?

Hopefully Cain has the footwork to keep that from happening.

People also have to remember that Randy is not a natural HW, He wrestled 190 in college and Greco, Cain has always wrestled HW and is used to going against guys that size.

Randy did a phenomenal job, controlling the clinch and getting back to his feet in the first round, but then a glancing blow from the behemoth put him down. RC's greco skills were what helped him out the most, but i don't think Cain has much of a GR background/experience. I see them (Cain/Brock) being from the same cut, both quick agile guys that are excellent folkstyle/amateur wrestlers... but I'd still give Brock the edge, either from skill, or athleticism/size/strength, and think that his hands are better with more power. Cain hit Rothwell over and over with clean power shots and couldn't finish him, couldn't finish Kongo, and took waaaaayyyy too long to finish that clearly outclassed European dude, i just don't think he has the power to make Brock respect his hands, but who knows, we haven't really seen Brock's chin get tested and we know Cain has one made out of granite.

Actually I think Cain might shoot better than brock, he just has better timing for it - I think brocks shot would be stopped by cain, but cains... well it wouldnt be that easy imo. I think whats important for both the fighters is to get the other against the cage - and work from there. Brock will have an easier time getting cain against the cage, and he will have an easier time taking him down there... Imo cain has to shoot and not let brock get him against the cage, I think cain even has a little advantage in that situation.

Another big problem imo is that keeping brock on the ground well... thats gonna be really hard, and from the rothwell fight sadly I must admit I dont think cain is paying enough attention to keep the guy on the ground.

Still I really like cain and he just seems like a very skilled fighter, hes just got very good timing with which he definitely has a good chance to take brock down.

YeahBee - Im not sure what you mean... under quickness I imagine... well explositivty :D and randleman. What different quickness do you mean? Like a faster pace of fighting? More, but less powerful punches?

Explosiveness= doing one thing really really fast and with power obviously in a short period of time

Quick: high pace moving fast for a while

Lesnar does not have the cardio that Cain does, all that muscle you can practically see his lack of oxygen he turns purple :P

And no way Lesnar can be more agile/limber then Cain, jsut look how he is built!

if you dont know wrestling, shut up.

You know what I'd love to see? Couture vs. Velasquez

That would be fucking awesome.

Cain is the best wrestler in UFC now. Better then GSP.
