This is my favorite thing about Cain. When he takes you down, he doesn't go for traditional BJJ positioning--hold the opponent down in guard, pass to half, then to side, then to mount, etc.

Rather, he'll instantly stand up over you, providing enough room for you to try to get up, all the while punching you in the face. Unlike other wrestlers like Chael and GSP, I think Cain actually wants you to get up. He wants you to work for it, tiring you out, beating you up, and then, when you do get up, he takes you back down again (usually into side control) and you start from square one.

This is incredibly exhausting and disheartening. And it's a strategy that takes incredible wrestling and endurance to pull off.
