It would definitely make sense if they met in between their weight classes if they were to fight, who do you think would win at 220? At Mid-heavyweight, i'd take Cain.

So basically at heavyweight since both would be 240 cutting down to 220?
Just have it at heavyweight so neither would need to cut

Fixed, but I would take Cain if he could actually be healthy...

Fuck this catch weight non sense

Jones is already a natural HW

In fact Jones is wider than Cain in upper body

Jones should just man up and fight Cain at his best....

A catch weight would just DRAIN Cain

BTW, Cain SMASHES Jones and everyone inlcuding Jones himself knows it

Cain's hellish relentless pressure, pace, never ending cardio, entries, level changes, kicks, the way he disguises his TDs and mixes it up etc, is ALL VASTLY superior to DC...and something Jones has NEVER SEEN or dealt with and would be overwhelmed by and broken by. Cain would literally WALK THROUGH Jones and treat Jones like a scub

Jones isn't fighting Cain unless it's for the title

Uh, 220 is heavyweight. And Cain could probably easily cut to that from 240.

If they both weigh 220, Jones will massacre Cain. I said before 205 Jones vs 240 Cain is a scrap. 235 in shape Jones vs 240 Cain, Jones easy he is the best fighter on the planet.

If Jones were a natural heavyweight he shouldnt be able to cut down to 205 easily, which he does. keep hating loser.

Jones is the current King of MMA, why should he have be the one to train 8-12 months to properly gain the 240+ pound frame, why should he have to test a new body he has no idea how it will perform in a real fight. If fans or Cain want the fight he can loss his fat and fight the waaaaaaaaaaaaay more accomplished Jon Jones at his weight class. Fighters at point should be coming to Jones not the other way around.

Jon won't go to HW, which is why they should meet in between but Jones would only fight for the title as someone just mentioned.

No cutting. Jones is 225ish when walking. If he's focused on putting on some muscle he'd easily be near Cain's size.

Jones is cutting from HW to LHW and just wants to make sure he is compensated with that Anderson Silva money if he is going to fight the big boys.

Cain isnt an under sized LHW or an over the hill LHW for Jones to have his way with (like has been the case so far)

Cain has the size, strength, pace, cardio, and versatility - under looked is how Cain kicks, unlike DC, and how Cain mixes up his level changes/strikes/takedowns A WHOLE LOT BETTER than DC could ever manage

Cain would have his way with Jones, walk him down and treat him like a scrub

Cain has always been the antidote to Jones...even Dana and Rogan said that Cain was the one to beat Jones when Cain was still unkown

To be honest.I dont care to see this fight. Not because I dislike the fighters, but the match up would not be entertaining like a JBJ-Silva fight would have been.
