Cain vs hunt seems like the only option left for next title shot if hunt beats struve

Cormier mir
Nelson kongo
Barnett lost to cormier and out of ufc now
Jds wont get immediate rematch
Werdum bignog doing tuf
Bigfoot lost to cain
Carwin probably retired


Any other option left??

Really it should be Werdum, the other top 10 HWs are all either coming off losses or rematches for Cain (bigfoot) or wont fight Cain for friendship reasons (Cormier).

All the options are pretty ugly really, unless somebody has an angle I haven't noticed.

Yes, I absolutely say Hunt doesn't deserve. If Struve beats Hunt he is on a better streak than Hunt would be should he win, and he also wouldn't deserve. Overeem really screwed up that plan tonight!

I say give it to the Hunt/Struve winner while waiting to see if Werdum takes out Big Nog. If he does he gets next. Hunt and Struve aren't the most sexy contenders but they make the most sense right now timing wise. They also both bring some things to the title fight that would be interesting. Hunt hits hard as hell and if he catches Velasquez slipping it's game over. Struve has some decent striking as well and he also would have a big reach advantage and some really good BJJ. Both are long shots for the win but as we see in this sport anything can happen, especially with Heavyweights.
