Reckon there is little chance of a UFC return and they aren’t going to release him. Forgot he had fights on his contract. Anyone know how many?

Ideally if it’s only one he should fight Overeem. The leave UFC for the Fedor fight.

Fedor at least has discipline but Cain doesn't even have that anymore. He knew what WWE wanted and really just had to put in some time in the gym. It's impossible to look that flabby if you do simple strenght training No Matter the injuries. it's even much much easier not having to do conditioning for a real fight.

But like you I really don't want to see that fight. Both are done

Both Velasquez and Rousey should sign with Bellator or ONE.

This happened back in April. He was not the only one they cut. WWE cut like 20 people because of the pandemic.

they cant. they both retired with still having fights on their ufc contracts. If they want to compete for another org they have to sit and wait out for 5 years i believe.

People on this thread are acting like the UFC used to treat Cain badly...
They are just ignoring the simple fact that Cain's body (specially his knees) are pretty messed up.
His transition to pro wrestling (in my POV) was due to less stress to his body while doing what he did in entire life.
The WWE cut was due to the covid pandemic. What happens now is probably him signing with another pro wrestling org (maybe in mexico) while remaining retired to mma.

Cain is a lot like Shogun, looked incredible, beat some great guys, blew out his knees and was never the same.

Fedor's chin is completely gone, Cain would put him out with the first punch. Getting knocked out by Ngannou doesn't mean he is as shot as Fedor.

Yeah I'll walk it back a bit, I would say it's 55/45 in Fedor's favor, but that's within my margin of error, so it's really a toss up of who lands first.

No, Cain would be the clear favorite. Last he fought he was a top 10 heavyweight. All he has to do is land. Or take Fedor down and beat him up the ground.

Cain has no charisma at all, he is not made for something like WWE. plus how brutal it is, you need to be performing constantly, every week, again not made for Cain.

He has good skills as a MMA fighter, but all the injuries and surgeries has ruined him.. I think he should call it a day now. Cain vs Fedor would be fun but I believe he still has UFC fights left, Dana would not allow him to go to Bellator
