Fedor vs. Cain, make it happen Bellator.
Brown Pride v The Last Emperor
Didn’t even know he was there. Lol
Probably still under UFC contract if he decides to fight again.
I seriously doubt Dana wouldnt have any contract agreement with Cain about returning to MMA. Plus this is not a fair match-for either of them; old-slow-chinny-passed-his-prime-Fedor vs slow-busted-knee-busted-back-no-cardio Cain is not exactly a dream match...it does sound like a Coker fight, though.
Certain that Cain still had fights left on his contract when he retired.
I'm not sure his body can hold up in MMA training. I see him maybe signing with All Elite wrestling. He has some name value that they would like for sure. Hopefully he is working on his pro wrestling skills. They are well below average.
Wow, he got kicked by a ppro wrestling org? How the mighty have fallen. Cain is now suffering the consequences of his own ignorantly bad decisions, starting from carrying around too much weight for his build on off season, to training improperly and injuring himself, to signing up to fight the same guys throughout his whole career, to getting into pro wrestling etc.
It all comes back to his decisions unfortunately, no one else to blame
can you never post again please
He has a contract, they wouldnt let him out of that. Probably did same thing with Ronda, gave their blessing but his contract is still there if he wanted to come back to mma.
Unless they were done with him and dont want him back then yeah they could have released him but I doubt that happened.
He'll probably go to AEW, if he doesnt get good offer then maybe he comes back cause he can still get paid well in UFC.
The WWE quickly put him in a match to give Lesner a fake revenge but McMahon hated Cain's flabby appearance and took him off tv to get in better shape. He was never one to be very muscular and I don't know if he can train hard enough without getting hurt to look super toned. He was a surprising good pro wrestler for the amount of experience he had.
People on Worldwide still don't know how contracts work. Never change, Sherdog.
They probably only signed him for this Saudi Event...and the build up..
He shows up for the build up...
Wrassles at the Saudi Event...
And then...thats it...
Pretty sure he made some good Bank...
How long till he tries to open a restaurant?
A sea level food restaurant.
I think they were planning a little more for him but definitely didn't seem to have a vision for what to do. Given the skill he showed, it was foolish to feed him to Brock on his first match. They were basically handed a ready made star and they threw it away so a part timer with his foot out the door could get some fictional revenge. Short sited and foolish, so business as usual for the WWE.
I think Fedor would take that fight pretty easily right now. Prime Cain was a stylistic nightmare for Fedor, but without the ability to explode in his takedowns and a less than granite chin, Fedor shrugs him off and KO's him with superior hand speed.
I think its a pretty even match-up. Assuming Cain comes in healthy, it could actually be fun, its just not as meaningful as it would have been a couple od years ago.
Imo Cain has deteriorated in dramatic fashion. He should own Fedor but I think even with this worn down Fedor Cain looses.
He could have made made more Impact in WWE but was just too lazy
IDK man, im not sure lazy is the word to describe Cain, he has suffered numeros injuries and have deteriorated his ability to train and, of course, fight.
Im not interested in watching two aging legends, im not saying I wouldnt watch lol, but this is not the fight to make by any means.
