Could somebody clarify the rule for me?

Just rewatched the fight recently & was amazed at the way he charged in (sometimes with punches, sometimes not), sending his skull crashing into Junior's face. Eventually, even Rogan mentioned it. Think because he often left his head rubbing against JDS's face instead of withdrawing, it didnt look like a typical headbutt.

Likely caused at least some of the swelling/ damage to Junior's face IMO.

Cain was grinding his head against JDS's. It's a wrestling trick to make your opponent as uncomfortable as humanly possible. No headbutts.
