Cain screwed DC over twice. Once by making him go to the LHW division when Cain himself could have gone to the LHW division (DC wouldn’t have those losses to Jones) and number 2 is by how he beat Lesnar.

Lesnar took Cain down and then utilized butterfly guard I believe to pop an over-eager Lesnar off of him. If Lesnar had had more patience he could have secured Cain to the mat better and then gone for GnP instead he got over eager and it allowed Cain to get back to his feet and thus beat Lesnar.

In his next fight Lesnar didn’t make the same mistake. He made sure he secured his TDs against Mark Hunt and then started his GnP.

Cormier’s got a good chin but if Lesnar has him in his back and is utilizing GnP, I’m not sure how many fighters who can take too many of those fists to the head before they are TKO’d or KO’d.

Now if Lesnar gets Cormier down I don’t expect him to make the same mistake he made against Cain. I see Lesnar securing the takedown and then utilizing his GnP which could be a fight ender. If Lesnar gets DC down and finished him he can thank Cain for teaching Lesnar to take his time and secure the TD before GnP or submission attempts.

As much as some don’t like Lesnar he is a quick learner and doesn’t often make the same mistake he made before. Sure getting his striking up to decent levels won’t happen but that’s another story.

i am all for cain cashing in money in the bank during lesnar vs cormier

I like DC but I don't think he will be able to take a F5.

I'm excited to see it honestly. I know DC is a great wrestler and fast and strong, but considering how much stronger than him Stipe looked early I think Brock will be too strong for DC and will control him quite easily. DC has better striking though and could finish Brock in a similar manner to Stipe.

1. Cain was the champion at that time. Why would he forfeit the belt and go down a weight class?
2. How did he screw DC over? By using butterfly guard to get Lesnar off him so now DC can't use the exact same move? What?

Thread is all over the place. Fucking make a point idiot.

Cormier probably takes out Brock. Either way, DC gets a payday and he deserves it. Not even a fan of the guy but that is cool for him. I’m sure he’s thrilled.

Mark Hunt?

I don't think so and DC doesn't think so because he thanked Cain like a thousand times. DC has a chance to make bank and get two title defenses in 7month period, while Cain has to fight contenders and get back into a TS.

Cain just forged DC into the HW smashing mashing he was last night, by sparring him in the trenches this entire camp.

DC & Cain push each other further than anyone else can, and these dudes are legit fam to one another.

Dude bro, Cain totally should have dropped his belt for his buddy DC, who wasn't even in consideration for a title shot at the time.

This is a joke thread. Obviously DC chose to go to LHW on his own and Cain beating Lesnar is what he was supposed to do.

But if Lesnar does beat DC and uses a TD to GnP and is patient with securing the takedown he can thank Cain for teaching Lesnar that.

I mean are you sugesting that Hunt have the same ground game as Cain and Comier?<FookIsThatGuy>

It's all worked out for Cormier in the end so it doesn't matter.
