In that both fights feature a great wrestler trying to take down a great striker with good TDD. Another parallel: like Bisping, JDS is also very hard to hold down even after conceding a TD as he routinely pops right back up.

What makes Cain/JDS II even more interesting than Sonnen/Bisping:
    - this is a 5-round fight, meaning Cain may have to takedown Junior over and over and over again like Sonnen tried to do with Bisping every time the Brit scrambled back up
    - JDS is a greater KO threat to Cain than Bisping is to Sonnen on the feet

Well Bisping presents an interesting package in that he is a solid kickboxer with great TDD and scrambling to neutralize grapplers. While it's not rare to see someone with his striking prowess, it's rare to see someone with his kickboxing level WITH the capacity to keep the fight on the feet

Lyoto Machida is another example who fits this mold

He is, great footwork, head movement and striking. Just not alot of power and still has some holes in his defense.

    Sure he will buddy.

Cain's going to have to trade in the frijoles for a salad so he can try and make 205 after JDS turns him into the HW Franklin.

because you can only get a KO victory by trading with the other guy, right?

No,Cain can KO him on the ground. All he has to do is to take him down...good luck, Cain.

    JDS KO round 1

Is this soley because that's what JDS did to Cain in the first fight? It could happen, but we've yet to see JDS rocked period. I'm thinking an epic 3 or 4 round bout with the fight going to the floor at least a couple of times, with JDS finally catching Cain in the end.

I am expecting more from Cain in this fight, I think he's a lot better, well he is a lot better then he showed us vs Junior the 1st time.

Im still expecting JDS to get the KO. Although...one thing to note, most people are expecting Cain to do better in this fight. But....maybe its just one of those where a guy has another guys number regardless how good they are. So I wont be shocked to see Junior KO him early again.
