9. November 2011 I predicted (even made a youtube video) that Cain was going to beat JDS by decision. He's a complete fighter and while he lost the first fight, it happened so fast that you couldn't get to see much of Cain. In a way it reminds me of Fedor's loss to Henderson.

Very excited to see Cain defend against Overeem (Overeem will beat all the other contenders for the spot (only JDS would present difficulties to Overeem (see the second Kharitonov fight) with his boxing)) and if he beats him, he's on his way to be this generations best heavyweight champion.

I was actually kind of disappointed. They were talking up Cain's cardio but it only lasted two rounds. Fedor never adrenaline dumped as hard as Cain, he kept calm and reserved and his cardio was well spent throughout the rounds. I believe Fedor would have finished JDS in that situation.

Still great showing by Cain, not trying to bash him in any way just saying that the Fedor comparison is not quite potent.

Yeah because Fedro got ktfo on free live primetime tv in his prime! Lol

Cain will probably lose his next fight, no matter who it's against.

That's more of a knock against the division than Cain himself. I mean, that was the representative of the best the division has to offer (at the moment) and both guys were physically done after 2 rounds. Terrible.

He's a few levels below Fedor, but still an amazing fighter.

No, Cain is Cain. Fedor was Fedor. Why must there be a thread every week comparing the current heavyweights to Emelianenko?

Why are so many people still on fedors nuts i just dont get it.

I'm going to disagree on that, I don't think Overeem or Werdum would be able to defeat Cain, I don't see anyone doing that as of right now when I think of it.
