I apologize if this sounds racist or xenophobic, but I honestly can't figure out why he's so pro-Mexico. His father fled Mexico. He was born in the US. Went to college in the US. Married an American. All of his opportunity came in the US. Yet he brings in the Mexican flag and plays Mexican intro music. For me it makes no sense and is offensive. I mean what has Mexico done for him exactly besides create a marketing opportunity for him now because of his last name and he's doing well in the UFC? I've seen people of Irish heritage do similar things (and I'd be on them too), but never quite this much.
Many of us will have no problem if he wants to move back there to be with his "real" people. I find it very fitting. Maybe he can get "brown pride" tattooed on his back in Spanish, maybe add the esteemed Mexican flag as well. The American flag is too good for someone like him, but the red, white and green fits him perfectly. Unlike FetalDefense, I mean and stand by every word.
Yeah, an American who like to wear people out by taking them down and laying on them constantly for 25 minutes. Fuck, Mexican boxing fans will be falling over themselves to see this guy!
Truthfully it doesn't matter. Canada loves GSP and he fights with the same style. And before you say it yes I'm aware Mexico is much more well known for producing elite boxers, but Mexican MMA fans will love Cain. Patriotism is much worse outside of America. And not to mention the U.S. is already well into the process of becoming Mexico north.
