Damn.....
I gave in again! The price is just too good though.
At first I didn't think you much of them until I put on cotton gym shorts and then I hated those, I perfer these over my Muay Thai shorts too!

I already used my SPRAWLs everyday when I go to the gym, or my tapouts, so I have no reason to buy cagewalks, but they're def bargain.

Has anyone used these before? I'll probably be using them more for standup if they aren't restrictive.
I rotate between my Clinchgears, Cagewalks, and Truths all the time...and each has their strengths/weaknesses for standup...

I'll say that the Cagewalks work GREAT for standup...I bought a size up (XL) b/c I wear a cup and there's little/no restriction in the hips, nor the outer thighs; and sizing is just fine b/c of the elastic and draw-string...

ok, so what's the deal with sizing? do they fit small or big? doesn't seem to be a real consensus here or in the review thread.

i'm a 29" to 30", 5'7.5", 149lb, average build. i usually wear 29 in suits, but feel more comfortable in 30 for normal pants like jeans. if anyone has that waist size and has these shorts please advise on S's or M's. i don't want these things falling off me, but i don't want a death grip on my ass and jewels either.

thanks.

A couple of guys at my gym use them almost exlusively, they have Sprawls too, but I'd guess have like a couple pairs of Cagewalks and seem to like them just fine. I don't have any personal experience with them though.

Deals like this make me wish I could spend money on gear and not my wedding :( lol

It said if in doubt order smaller, so I went Medium and I'm about a 33.

I need shorts, period. Can these be worn casually or will I look like a goof?
I wear them just to lounge around in and they look fine...in fact, that's why I like them (b/c as most in this forum know, I hate whoring myself out with labels)...they're low-profile, a solid color, and look like hybrid gym/board shorts...

Only thing that sucks is no pockets...

They fit REALLY full...

I ordered XL and have a ridiculous amount of room...I could have probably gotten away with L's and been just fine...

My waist is about 36-37 (depending on whether or not I've visited the buffet)...but I usually go a size up b/c I have large thighs and hips...which is why I got the XL's...they're CRAZY roomy and I think I could have gotten away with L's and still had plenty of room for to wear my cup and stuff...

Here's my advice for these shorts...order a size up if you're unsure...one thing that's nice about Cagewalks is BOTH drawstring AND elastic waist, which accomodate weight fluctuations pretty well...and it's better to have slightly larger than you need shorts than slightly smaller, right?

Best of luck...

this is why i hate ordering stuff online. i honestly can't figure out why its so hard for clothing manufacturers to get a waist measurment correct. the overall fit will vary on the design and cut, but the waist is a standard measurement and shouldn't vary as much as it does between brands.

oh well, i'm gonna try the small. if they don't fit then f*ck it.

Yeah you don't look dumb when your at a popular gym, I wear mine to 24hr. and people ask me where I got it. It's good shorts to show off some leg too! :D

im gonna order a pair tonight but just curious if the wasit is stretchy like elastic and if there size is closer to like board shorts for swimming or closer to regular clothing size?

Picked up 2 pairs... Been looking to get some shorts, and tried to get them when they first went on sale, but they were out of stock. I'm glad they restocked. Can't wait.
