Buy or sell: McGregor will still be the FW Champion in 2017?

So which is it? I definitely sell. McGregor has big roles in his game, and he will take a long time to cover them all. I don´t see him winning against light-speed Edgar, Smashing Machine Mendes or not-so-hasty Aldo.
He will be back to welfare in 2018 for sure.

He clearly punches hard, so he has a chance I guess, but against Frankie he will lose that fight. Frankie will look to take the fight to the ground immediately and would bust him up. Frankie has great ground and pound. That will wear Conor out quick. Edgar can handle himself on the feet as well with his in and out combinations.

Ultimately I see Edgar's game plan similar to the one he used against Cub Swanson. That's a scary dude for Conor to fight

Sell, Conor has power and good stand up but his ground game is weak and so is his cardio.

I think Frankie beats him but I'm not sure on that one. I think Conor beats Aldo 8/10 now. He seems faster than Aldo and hits hard enough to hurt/stop him. Unless Aldo decides to grapple bit.

I think Frankie can put him through the grinder. If a giant like Gray Maynard couldn't KO Frankie at LW I don't think Conor can at FW.

I think Mendes loses to Conor b/c he'll get caught eventually in a 5 round fight..

So to answer......it depends on who they match him up with. If it's Frankie, I'm selling. Anyone else, I'm buying.

Sell. He's got some holes in his game that he's got to work on to say he'll be able to hold on.
I think the rematch with Aldo could go differently, Frankie is not going to be a walk in the park and Holloway is much improved from the first time they fought.

even if he stays undefeated as a FW, i doubt he'll stay at FW come 2017. i think he'll have to move to 155 sooner or later. mcgoat is still a damn good fighter. he underestimated nate and got cracked and finished. trash talk or not, mcgoat is a gym rat and he'll bounce back from this. he'll just need to lay off making predictions.

i honestly think his best move would be to fight aldo. though it would be a different fight, he one-punch KO'd aldo. edgar's speed and versatility would probably be too much for mcgoat right now.

i dont think conor wants to make that cut anymore. its going to be interesting because the guys at 155 are going to be a nightmare for him

when you factor in theres a chance conor loses at FW along with the fact that he might avoid the cut and stay at 155 i think odds lean towards sell. conor is also very active so its not like he will only have to fight once. this also tips the odds in favor of sell

i know people are super down on conor right now but i think people are also drastically under estimating how tough of a match up diaz is for conor at 170 (or even 155). diaz style and weapons are really tough. diaz looked his absolute best vs johnson last fight. hes getting better and better. if you cant put nate away in the first you better be able to hold him down

McGregor is so incredible, he can fight 9 times a year and hold three maybe four belts at once.

Aldo, Frankie, Chad. He'll fight 2 out of 3 of those guys this year. (Chad in the event he loses the belt).

I don't think he'll be champion in 2017. This year will be disastrous for him,.
