oh wow.

Murilo Bustamante absolutely blasts Wallid Ismail to bits in this statement, as a "coward" and man of no moral character

i can see Wallid taking this in typically good humor... or not...

Bustamante now says the following about Ismail

Thank You for posting. It's understandable that Ismail would take his fighter's side in the matter. Did he and Bustamante have any issues prior to this?

The only thing that would have made Vitor's post fight speech after he KO'd Bisping better, would have been if Walid would have been in the cage translating it all.

wallid ismail said some shit on pedro noble?

gotta say that busta is the cool guy and wallid is the douche, but who ain't gonna back up wallid this time? pedro nobre deserves the worst criticism there is

I will never forget Wallid Ismail's interview at Pride 15 where they ask him about his beef with Ryan Gracie, guy was the epitome of the Brazil warrior "I live and die in the ring" type of promo.

This situation though is all kinds of fucked up, I was hoping to find some recent discussions about the fight on Saturday. I mean, I didn't even know Dana tweeted that Pedro was a great actor. Just another example of how you can respect what Dana and company have done for the sport, but Jesus Christ he's not a doctor, he's not in the cage, how are you going to disrespect a guy you pay to fight and then call him an "actor" when you have an interview with the guy a few days later saying he thought he actually lost by TKO.

Since when is Wallid a douche? And that one shot that might have been to the back of the head shouldn't be a disqualification. Nobre wanted out of that fight and he got his wish, also costing Yuri the win. I hope Dana gave him his win bonus.

Also, this same Bustamante said that Palhares' elevated testosterone is due to his diet... Shit, what kind of foods they eat in brazil that drastically raises your testosterone, because I'd love some of those cakes and whatnot.

I laugh my ass off every time I hear Wallid call Ryan a "cheeken".

Dana is the epitome of no ethics or morals when it comes to those who work for him and below him (fighters, refs, etc.).

I think to understand that we need to go back in Carlson Gracie's days, the split and bla bla bla... Bustamante left and created BTT (with Ze Mario, Liborio and a lot of other guys, just like Belfort did after), Wallid is an eternal Carlson protegee, they have hard feelings since then.

He eats the souls of his training partners and absorbs their Testosterone and also tonnes of acai.

He needs that attention, he needs to do and say things that above all else make you associate the sport of MMA and the name UFC with Dana White FIRST. I mean, and I hate to use another Pride reference, but go back to when he was doing an interview for the Grand Prix the Iceman was in. Dana put down a 250k bet that Chuck would win and then goes on to say he's going to put the "belt" on his desk, as opposed to letting Chuck take that shit home lol. Like I said, I respect Dana, more often than not he seems cool, but stupid shit like this sticks out *cough* Junie.

There you go

It's no shock they hate each other. Murilo was part of the group of top guys who left Carlson Gracie (Sperry, Liborio, etc.), and Wallid was one of the main guys who stayed till the end. There's no love lost between these two.

Love Wallid, guy is hilarious. Respect to all the fighters who step in the cage.

Do you guys know Ismail's origins? I know he's Brazilian but what about his parents?

get this argument done inside the ring, as oldschool fighters use to do

The year is young, but I nominate this for GIF of the Year. Most people probably know the reference, but just in case:

Thank You for providing the background. I thought there might have been more to the story.

Lastly, someone on this thread shortened Murilo's last name to "Busta" and it made me chuckle. Can we make it into a thing, like Murilo "Busta" Rhymes or something?
