Anyone here try it? What are your thoughts?
Bulgarian Training Bag by coach Ivan Ivanov | Suples.com
Haven`t tried but it doesn`t look to me like anything more than a sandbag. Plus it`s overpriced as hell - unless you make your own.
the road to success is paved with hard work and dedication, not super secret training methods and revolutionary "new" equipment. There are no shortcuts and if anybody claims they can give you the edge you've been looking for, there's a 99% chance if you need it your current "edge" is sledgehammer sharp. Revisit the basics and avoid the hype.
Fairly original, but i don't see anything in the video that can't be done with a medicine ball except for the pushups.
If you've got the money to burn, it looks like a pretty fun little conditioning tool. Otherwise, as said above, you could do all the same stuff with a handful of other tools that you could get much cheaper.
You can make them with a tire inner tube filled with sand or whatever.
I wonder if you brought those bags to Bulgaria if anyone would even know what they are?
anyway, here's a video showing how to make it at home:

Series of 3 vids about making them etc:
YouTube - How To Make A Bulgarian Training Bag - Part I
I'll just embed all 3:
Good looking out guys. Not looking for the "newest" thing, just looking to change up the routine for a little bit. I might try that homemade one..
