Media Bryan Battle: "I wouldn't have taken the fight" if my opponent missed weight

What a dumb take. It's called having bills to pay, and not having much of a choice. Especially considering if you don't know whether the UFC will hold it against you or not if you back out of a fight over it.

I guess he only has a point about after taking a fight, then dont talk about it anymore, dont take fights where the opponent missed weight, i missed this fight or whatever their weight was, but in most cases is in fighters best interest not taking the fights if they value their records and their career.

Hunt was so happy saying he was going to KO Lesnar with or without roids, we all know what happened.

What a shit take lmao. People have bills to pay, families, and I’m sure coaches aren’t giving out “opponent missed weight” discounts…

What a tool

I really wish Randy had won but judges love fighters who hug against the fence over fighters who actually land significant strikes. The combo's Randy was landed on Battle each round were powerful and precise. You would think that's enough to win the the rounds over hugging but I guess not. Battle didn't do enough to win IMO.

New rule: On top of purse sharing, missing weight by more than two pounds is a two point deduction if the fight goes forward, missing weight by 1-2 pounds is a one point deduction, and missing weight by a half-pound is a half-point deduction (draws become losses). Fuckers like this winning split decisions in close fights is a crime.

He's taking the heel role as deep as he can. Well I still like his fights when he comes to scrap. It's a fair point anyone can refuse fighters that miss weight.
