Bruised shin with lump

    Need advice guys, was trying to condition my shin for a while hitting the heavy bag and sand bag. Now I went too far as to try and break a baseball bat. Hit it with force, broke it but my shin now has a big lump, and it has been 2 weeks since, but still is painful and lumpy. I'm sure bone is NOT broken, but any idea what's happening to the bone, or how long would I be able to resume training with the bag?

    If you want to be a fighter, spend more time doing sprints and heavy deadlifts, and less time trying to be karate kid.

    Don't worry about kicking bags. You broke the bat, so you obviously don't need them anymore.

    Now you should start working on your chin. Get a new bat, and ask your dad to hit you in the face with it. This can be dangerous, so have him hit you softly at the beginning, and gradually increase the power. You should be able to take a full-power swing after five minutes or so.

    A bat is just the beginning. Try metal ones and sign posts. Once you can get those move to concrete and rebar pillars. If your successful with these open a one man demoilition crew and get bids to tear down houses and stadiums/ buildings. Just make sure both shins have the same hardness. After doing this for years you'll probably be able to shear tectonic plates and diamonds as well. Good luck

    At what point in time did it seem like a good idea to kick a fucking baseball bat? That shit's weak, you need to start kicking steel rebar and then move onto aggregated diamond nanorods.

    Either that or train like Rocky by kicking raw cow in a meat packing plant.

    Srsly though, kicking baseball bats is just retarded. Even the traditional wooden posts used to condition your shins are covered with padding.

    To be honest though man, just train, i'm sure you'll be kicking enough that over time your shins will get gnarled and nerve- dead.
