Only thing he added was leg kicks, there was no new confidence in his striking, he was still shooting from far out and turning bright purple.

Only real difference I saw was that he actually fought with a smart gameplan this time, most likely due to Greg Nelson cornering him again.
 
Exactly the same after 5 years is pretty fuckin good. He was the best HW champ in the UFC
 
What point are you trying to make?

Brock's wrestling looked far better than it did against Overeem, and he's coming in after a 5 year lay off. Are you really giving him shit for deciding not to play the striking game with Hunt?
 
He looked healthier and faster last night than ever before. He beat the living shit out of Mark Hunt and could easily do it again.

Is there a point to this thread or are you just salty a WWE wrestler ended Mark Hunt?
 
You'd be a fool to think you'd have confidence in striking going toe to toe with Hunt, especially after a 5 year lay off. So i guess what you're really mad about is the fact that he used his intelligence?

My point is Brock looked the exact same and he still handled mark hunt.

Would Greg Nelson game planning for him help him against guys like overeem and Cain?
 
Brock has looked bad in his last fights. He didn't do any damage to Hunt hate to break it to you dick riders.

I thought he looked pretty good. Those were some thunderous leg kicks, too bad he stopped after just 2.

Well, if that's your point, then yeah, I'm sure Greg Nelson helped. Brock fought very smart last night and even ate Hunt's punches. So much for "1st round walk off KO."

Is that why Mark Hunt looked like he was crying while Brock was smashing his brains into another dimension with his GnP?
 
Been saying it all along....best GnP in the game right now with those knuckle draggers of his. Its sick how hard he hits fools on the ground while on their backs.

I noticed that as well (him turning purple or red) I thought I read somewhere that means you are gassing? I do agree he fought pretty much the same way he used to in my opinion.

I thought he looked pretty good. And to his credit, he didn't freak the fuck out when he got tagged (well, at least grazed, but getting grazed by hunt still sucks).

He did enough in the striking to set up some of his takedowns. He only got sprawled hard once that I remember. And that was just a lighting fast sprawl from Hunt. If he could have kept that up he might have won :p

He might struggle against a more mobile heavyweight like Cain, JDS, or Stipe. But he looked good enough that any of those fights would be interesting.
