and Lesnar said something along the lines of "be careful what you wish for"



I know it's a ridiculous fight, but who you guys think wins if this fight happens?

Problem is Jones is much more pillow fisted than Cain. Maybe an elbow would do the trick. But Jones' best scenario is to survive until Brock gets gassed.

Brock is past 40. He was still in his prime when he fought Cain. Jones MMA outwrestled DC. Brock has the bull rush and that is it. Jones would be 230 if they fought and give up 50lbs or so. Brock has the bullrush and GNP that can beat almost anyone, survive the first few minutes and he loses. I’d take jones based on youth, fight in, more tools, gas tank

Yes, my hypothetical is just as likely to happen as Jones-Lesnar.

Jones will never fight in the UFC again, and I doubt Brock will. Brock has to re-enter the testing pool, pass all tests for the remaining 8 months left of his suspension, and only then could he fight. Jones has to serve out his suspension (48-54 months) and can't go 15 months without failing a test, no way he makes it through his lengthy suspension clean.

At HW a WW could hold down most of those guys, they are fighting their own mass as much as the guy on the top.

You speak from a place where shame and pride are still factors, and I appreciate your optimism, but Lesnar will be right back in the UFC as soon as possible and almost certainly fed a 10-4 heavyweight before being handed a title shot (if not just given a title shot). Jon Jones could rape several small children and if he pissed clean right on to their spent carcasses he'd be cleared to fight DC.
