Scenario: Brock returns, clean, last fight was Mark Hunt

Both he and Blaydes are accomplished wrestlers, Brock being the far more decorated of the two.

Blaydes however is the more experienced complete MMA fighter.

Who would you take in this?

who cares.... Brock = ratings...I'd hot shot to a title shot. Put him against Ngan

Would Brock be allowed to juice to the gills?

Brock vs Lewis... Beast Trash Talk would be classic. Plus Curtis will be right there for a title shot if he beats REEM.

Blaydes is also like 15 years younger. That's his big edge over many HWs right now.

Blaydes easily stuffs Lesnar's TDs and KOs him.

Brock was also a far more accomplished wrestler than Cain.

Curtis Blaydes is a true 265er.
Without roids Brock, a 6'2 40 years old white guy, will probably be about 240-250 lbs if he's in shape. (he won't be cutting from 280-300 lbs as some of you think he did for UFC 200)

Blaydes is the more technical wrestler and has better striking, also he doesn't turn into a turtle receiving hard shots, so yeah he wins.

You know what.. I don't like this fight for Brock.

A younger, hungrier wrestler.. how about no.

Prime age for HWs is older.. Hence why majority are over 30. Lesnar would maul Blaydes.

I agree, but a 15-year age gap is huge at any weight class. There are a lot of old HWs, but it's clear they're at a disadvantage when they fight younger guys like Blaydes and Ngannou (I'm not buying the idea that Ngannou is actually 40).

Brock in his prime physical years (late 20s)--with no divurticulities or other health issues--would be a different beast altogether assuming he had several years of good training. I think Brock could still beat a lot of young guys who don't have his size or wrestling background, but Blaydes would be tough.

I should say Brock, but ring rust might be an issue.
But this fight won't happen. If Brock quit's now with juicing, it is still in the system for the next 10 years probably.

Horrible match. Repeat of Hunt vs Brock. Lewis has nothing on the ground. Better scrambles maybe?
