Another female viewer said: ‘I do not want to share toilets with men. Their hygiene in toilets is vile.’ However, a few argued that it is actually men who will be worse off – claiming that ‘ladies’ loos are the worst I’ve ever seen!’.

It's alright to have a toilet/toilets that can be used by anyone...it's just the shameless 4anyone bullshit that makes this so fucking pathetic and cringe worthy. This is just a pathetic attempt to be extremely pc and inclusive. The big half skirted, colorful male/female icons are god awful. Can you not just have male toilets, female toilets and a few isolated solo toilets that can be used by anyone ?

It is shocking how some women can miss the toilet when they pee sitting down. The women's bathroom I had to clean had a bag used for pads and tampons that smelled like something evil and inhuman.

As I said in my op I'm not actually against gender neutral solo toilet stalls, I'm just playing devils advocate. As quoted in OP, there are some people (primarily Women I think) who don't want to use public bathrooms frequented by Men. Fair enough. To irritate a lot of people to keep a very small minority happy isn't really the right way to do things.

I do see where they're coming from though, whether it's right or wrong. People have real concerns when you get some 'creepy' 45 year old Man dressed in drag using the female restrooms when young/teenage girls are in. Call it prejudice if you like, but a lot of people do assume people like that are sexual deviants and feel uncomfortable on behalf of their children. Or at least, they fear that sexual deviants will use it to their advantage to be peeping toms.
