Makes sense, clean athletes living together, training together then fighting each other, all cut off from the outside World for however many weeks it takes. Perfect time for reality TV imo.

I'd watch. But for that and UFC events that will be held behind closed doors, word is they couldn't get COVID-19 tests if they wanted to. It's not like they just chose to not test fighters for tonight's fight night, There's not enough tests to go around and tests WILL NOT be given to anyone unless they are sick with symptoms, and even then, half the time you still can't get a test, they just tell you to go home and self quarantine. It's bullshit.

I always thought the tuf concept would work for people already signed to the ufc. I don't know why they don't just do something similar for title shots. It's already a tournament.

Why not get like 8 of the top 10 together and have a little tournament that lasts until they have a number 1 contender? That's something I would watch instead of a new set of nobodies fighting for a contract.

They could alter the tuf format and keep doing it. They could probably keep 125 around if they just gave those guys some tv time.

The bar isn't set too high to get into the UFC these days. And as far as title shots, they did that and what it got for us was Nicco Montano, a chick who got her belt pulled for inactivity and then lost her first fight back.

Honestly I'm not even sure what there's left to fight for in the TUF house other than to beat the shit out of everyone else in the TUF house, and really I guess that's good enough for me. Maybe throw in a million bucks for the winner.

Season 24 was dedicated to 125 and it was the lowest rated season if I remember correctly.
