How would Brian Shaw do in the UFC with 6 months of training? Future champ?

There is no way anyone could submit him. He could just power out of everything. You couldn't wrestle him and win. With a basic knowledge of applying submissions he could apply them through brute force.

He can't make HW... at openweight he would probably not be very mobile and gas too fast. There's a reason boxing HW which is unlimited isn't dominated by 400 lb guys.

If that's the case all strongmen would dominate MMA.

He can barely walk a flight of stairs without gassing. He'd never last.

The people who try to be elitist MMA snobs are the ones who show themselves to be the biggest ignoramus.

It has been shown time and time again that size matters even at HW - to suggest a strong man of the stature of Brian Shaw or the Mountain getting there hands on a 240 guy and just brute force laying on them and pulling on their limbs or bending their neck wouldnt be effective is greatly underestimating the strength of these men.

Bob Sapp showed that size and aggression can be exceptionally effecitve in beating one of the greatest Kickboxers of all time by pure force and then almost destroying the No.2 HW in the world in a MMA all styles event

We hate on Bob Sapp now because he destroyed his credibility but make no mistake there was no one getting in the ring with prime 380lb Sapp thinking this is a piece of cake.

Shaw is 6'8" and 420 thats 3 inches taller and 40 lbs heavier than Sapp at his biggest - to suggest this guy wouldnt fuck up alot of MMA HW's by pure aggression and strength is actually exceptionally short sighted and shows a lot of ifnorance towards the sport.

Pudz was a different story he was short and compact and wasnt 'that' much of a freak in size peaking at 320 lbs and 6 foot - Strongmen will always do worse in a striking match when you take away their biggest asset, strength in lion fucking the shit outta some one - sure they may only have 3 mins of gas and they arnt gonna beat everyone but to negate them as redundant is a redundant negligible statement

You didn't learn from when Pudz turned purple and almost fell out in the cage? Also how hes so strong but has a few losses to some fat washed up journeymen?

Powering out of those can subs with no issues.

Somewhere near Pudz but probably worse because Pudz was super rich and a celebrity with the best possible training available to him
