He defeated Evgeny Erokhin (holds decent wins over Sokoudjou and Valentijn Overeem) via Split Decision on Oct 5th.

Not sure why, but I've always been a fan of Rogers. Glad he picked up a win but sucks that he can't KO people anymore.

Couldn't find a vid of the fight anywhere.

Glad he got a win. Used to be so much hype around him. He really is a case of how the mighty have fallen.

Ya I won't lie, I bought into the hype. He beat Arlovski around the time when Arlovski still looked great, and that had me sold.

Was still convinced he was gonna be great even after he lost to Fedor, thought he put up a solid fight. But damn, after that fight it was just all downhill. Lost all hope for him after he lost to Eddie Sanchez, but I'll still watch him fight whenever I get the chance.

I won't lie, the only reason I wanted him to keep winning was not to make Fedor look bad - like he did!
He beat AA faster than Fedor did. Then he fight Fedor, and puts up the best fight of his entire career. Yeah he lost, but he put everything into that fight he looked good.

Then he started to lose/look horrible in victory against inferior competition. Damn, why did he have to make Fedor look bad in insight, like Timmy did with that Mercier KO.

    /stupid rant :(

Split decision? Like against Warpath? Well he could lose or win again cleanly next time.
His hype was one amusing thing for sure.

To be honest, I think that being booked for that Arlovski fight was the worst thing that could have happened to his career. After he made his name with that win, it was on to Fedor -> Juicy 'Reem -> a short break to decision Warpath -> Barnett...
The Fedor fight shook him, and Overeem shattered him.

Sucks that he's gone downhill, though. It was impressive that he got so far while not training full time.

Eh, I don't think that fight made Fedor look bad, he did win after all. Rogers had a pretty massive size advantage and fought insanely hard, didn't really seem like Fedor was ever in too much trouble, just got tagged a few times.

Yep that's the reason why he is no longer relevant. If the guy didn't beat his wife he would've been in Bellator.

You could not really argue against him being ranked after the AA. Though you could probably argue that he wasn't a very great or very good HW. He got a good win, albeit via clipping someone in a fight that lasted like ten seconds. Still, AA was pretty much at the top still even though that was during a four fight losing streak.

It's hard to gauge where he was ever at. The Arlovski fight was like ten seconds long and outside of that he has never defeated anyone in the top 50.
