HW- old and #3 HW Volkov is a Bellator washout who lost to Kongo 30-27 not too long ago.

LHW- Wasteland and half of the top 4 LHWs are in Bellator.

MW- getting old and Bellator arguably has the #1 MW in the world (top 3 easy).

WW- half of the top WWs are in Bellator. Bellator champ has a dominant win over UFC champ.

WFW- LOL

WBW- LOL

WFLW- LOL

Do you agree with “Big Brown”?

Do you agree with “Big Brown”?

I don't.

I haven't really given any thought to this particular subject, but I don't "agree with Big Brown". Schaub is always wrong. It's a priori.

Depends what he means by better.

Talent wise, for sure. All the fighters are better than ever before. There are guys on the roster today that I couldn't even name that would easily dust off champions prior.

Entertainment wise, ehh.

The talent is undeniably great but most lack any marketable skills such as personality and Dana not even attempting to help his “world champions” grow their fanbase is ridiculous.

Depends, some divisions are insane right now (Featherweight, Bantamweight, Middleweight, Lightweight)

Some are shit (LHW, WMMA, HW, FLW)

I honestly don't know many fighters these days. They may be great too. But I don't know.

I like it currently. Conor McGregor. Stipe miocic. Darren till. Mighty mouse. TJ Dilla. Lando. Tony Ferguson. Khabib. Kevin Lee. Whittaker. Yoel. Kelvin. DC. I could go on for days.

I agree. Yea I said it

Of course he is right, and it's only going to get better, this sport is only 25 years old and some countries just stated to get their hands into mma.
Expect a lot more "Nurmagomedovs" in the future.

HW, LHW, FLW, and all of wmma are utter shit lmao

As far as pure talent? The UFC is the best it has ever been

Look at how stacked FW, LW and WW are alone.

Featherweight:
Holloway
Ortega
Aldo
Frankie Edgar
Jeremy Stephens
Cub Swanson
Elkins
Lamas
Zabit

Lightweight:
Khabib
Tony
Conor
Kevin Lee
Eddie Alvarez
Dustin Porier
Justin Gethje
Chiesa
James Vick
Ragin Al

Arguably, The top 6 Lightweights in the world are the best the LW division has ever seen not named Frankie or BJ. And many may beat them in their prime

Welterweight:
Tyron Woodley
RDA
Darren Till
Wonderboy
Lawler
Colby Convington
Usman
Masividal
Magny

HW: Old

LHW: Jones, DC and Gus maybe the best the division has ever seen

MW: Imagine if we got to see Silva in his prime face contenders like Yoel, Bobby Knuckles, Rockhold, and Weidman (If he faced him earlier in his career)

Bantamweight: TJ, Cruz, Cody, Rivera. Most stacked division has ever been

The lower level guys have never been better, but the star power sure is lacking.

I think he's right. At least I'm terms of skill and talent that's obviously true. In terms of entertainment and overall health of the organization it's up for debate.

I think Schaub is taking a page from Chael's book, where you make an outrageous statement and everyone starts talking about it and drums up publicity for you.

Hmmm...Heavyweight has always been random...Jones was a cheater...Anderson popped twice so you can discount him ... GSP is sort-of still fighting ... McGregor is scared shitless of the guys at 155. Holloway has a huge win streak...135 and 125 still don't exist AFAIC ... Ronda sucked ...Cyborg is there ...

...yeah...yeah.

TS is obviously trolling, or just an idiot I guess. The talent level in Bellator isn't even comparable to the UFC.

The depth of talent right now is likely better than ever. The vast majority of fighters are training full time with legit MMA trainers/gyms, and training all aspects of the sport. Even 10 years ago that wasn't the case at all.

Who are the top WWs in bellator?

http://www.fightmatrix.com/mma-ranks/welterweight/

Rory will just decision them all and become the Bellator version of GSP, then will retire once someone gives him a close fight

Fitch is #13, Lima is #15, Korshevov is #18, Daley is #22

Thats not half

And Mousasi doesnt become the #1 MW becomes he finishes a sub top 20 MW one dimensional striker

Hes top 5 or top 10

Well, he is not on it anymore, so thats a start

he's not that wrong, there's tons of monsters in right now
