They did just sign Bo Nickal to that division. He probably transcends their worry about grapplers ruing the division, since he is apparently likable and has a fan base. Perhaps they want Allen to gate keep until Nickal can snatch up the belt.

I looked at Muniz as someone who had worse striking than Allen and better grappling, even if both only by little. But still didn’t see this ending in sub by Allen. Nice one.
