How did you kids handle that? Mine, We sadly grew apart after we got busted for dealing drugs. Our moms wouldn't let us around eachother, and he had a kid by age 17 - and I was going to Uni while he stayed home in a small town.

We saw each other at a lighting winter fair a week ago, he has 2 adorable kids now. Not a peep from either of us though. We went from hanging out in hot tubs to not ever speaking.

My OG best friends mom got an online boyfriend from the west and eventually she took the kids and fucked off to Canada. We speak in skype occasionally, congratulate eachother on our birthdays and stuff like that. Just stopped caring when we weren't around eachother anymore.

I broke up with my childhood bestfriend over alcoholism and his bitter resentment of me and things turning completely toxic. Wasn't hard it was really only me that tried to keep in touch and I just let it go. I never wanted to lose my best friend but he was out of control out of line and just didn't care.


Fast forward to tonight and I get a text from this mother fucker telling me he's dying and doesn't have much time left.

I don't even know what to say or do. I hate this mother fucker but I love him too. I kinda hoped that one day we would be friends again like the old days but someday never comes way more often than we ever think it will.
