He won't make it out of the hospital. He has been in poor health for some time now. After losing his wife, his will to live is definitely gone.

I'm never overly upset when someone loses a long time loved one and they go shortly after. They shouldn't be apart for a long time, and even their body knows it

My oldest Aunt and Uncle went within a month and a half of each other after 65 years of marriage. They weren't meant to be alone. Was a bit hard on our family, but we were in a way happy for them

My grandparents died a year apart.

Agreed. It seems to be especially hard for the man if his wife dies first. It's actually beautiful, if you think about it. The power of love fully revealed.

Either that or old geezers not being able to take care of themselves.

Ok sorry for that. I actually came here to make that exact same point, it's crazy how short a man's lifespan is after losing his wife. You see plenty of female widows going strong for 10, 20 years (specially if they have a family), yet it feels like most men drop dead within a couple of years.

I do hope Bush makes it.

As long as it doesn't knock me off the top of my death pool. I snagged Hawking for 21 pts, and lost some ground when Babs kicked it. This guy is only a 7-pointer thankfully.

Also this kind of love is beautiful, etc.
 
Sounds like a relief to the federal budget. Every little bit helps.

Seems like this is a very natural way to go. I've got no opinion on the guy, no clue how he was as a president. But he was president of the USA so RIP in advance
 
My grandparents died within days of each other. The old bastard hung himself the day after grams funeral.

Yeah, best way imo is to award points by subtracting the age from 100, with like a 5 point minimum. We should definitely do a WR one next year, good times. I think we tried a time or two, but it didn't catch on.
