lol @ the NFLPA being the most powerful sports union.

MLB's Player Union >>>> NFL's and it isn't even close.

An MMA union started by a bunch of has beens? Not likely. If a union is ever going to happen the big names that still have a legit fighting career need to be the center of it. That won't happen.

I really wish GSP would just join forces with these guys in creating the union.

Exactly, maybe the NFLPA can teach them how to negotiate unguaranteed contracts so the athlete can get cut at any time without having to be paid.

Yes they do and they also have the best pension plan in sports, don't have a hard salary cap for teams or individual players.

It's funny that although the nfl is the weakest of all he major pro sports unions there are a lot more dollars at stake with them as opposed to the others.

The mlb union might be the strongest union in the whole country regardless of industry.

    Mma fighters can learn here

Wand should be released and he should be allowed to go else where. The UFC shouldn't be allowed to keep him trapped like this.

    War Wand!

He seemed to want the contract when he signed it. If there is something wrong with it he can sue to have it voided or just simply breach it and hope to win the suits from the UFC to defend it.

Good step hope those guys did learn something. I'm a repub so this hurts but the ufc does need a union and someone like rich Franklin would be perfect to be the head.
