Breakdown by postion for 2016 Worlds

A great article with infographics on the most popular positions/submissions used this year at Worlds. Over 74% won by points or submission, so the vast majority of matches had a clear winner. Also I was not expecting to see oma plata as the number one submission for the tournament. It gives some really interesting insight into which moves are most effective at this level. It just might make you rethink your game.

Great piece. Just one correction to your statement. Chokes from the back were the most popular submission. Think you are mistaken the color of the omoplata (light blue) with the choke (greyish blue)
