Any Brazilian MMA fighters with really good offensive wrestling? Ricardo Arona certainly comes to mind - had some decent power doubles, took down most of his opponents (except Rampage...?), outwrestled Mark Kerr in ADCC IIRC. Among today's UFC fighters there's certainly Demian Maia and Claudia Gadelha. Jacare's pretty good at leg takedowns as well. I guess Jose Aldo is pretty decent at offensive wrestling (not very good because he hasn't taken down any elite wrestlers). One could also add Murilo Bustamante from Pride era (although his shots were average).

Any thoughts, sherbros? I know it's often said that Brazilian fighters lack wrestling. Indeed it's hard to think of Brazilian fighters with elite offensive wrestling in MMA although the same is hardly true for defensive wrestling (from the top of my head there's Aldo, Barao, Barboza, Tibau, JDS with elite TDD).

I'd have to go with Maia at this point. He's been able to get inside and execute his game plan against a bunch of elite fighters who want to stay on the feet.

Glover showed good wrestling against Jared Cannonier, then again, Jared's TDD sucks. Did slam Gus early in their fight though.
