Was watching Dos Santos Vs Gonzaga and their stare down was intense like they wanted to hurt each other (1 did). Look at Vitor vs Wanderlei they both want this fight to hurt each other.
Why do Brazilians feel so much animosity for each other?

The BTT-Chute Boxe beef in the pride times gave some extra intensity to brazil vs. Brazil fights.

there's also some stuff on Wand vs. Vitor.

Besides those that there's more than just the fight, it"s the same as US vs. Brazil or US vs. US

Anderson vs Vitor was insane too

Wand thinks Vitor is a paycheck bitch , honorless fighter once he step up with that AS fight, they were training under the same gym, wich has a code of dont fighting between it s own athletes... and some issues about a long past Vitor being a mercenary too... a think thats the reason about the hate between the two guys, imo Wanderley has some point, Vitor seemed hypocrit a couple of times...

You're seeing things that are not there.

Yeah, Anderson vs Maia/Leites was SO intense bro

Seriously though you can't say that like it's a fact. Two Brazilians can definitely be a boring fight, I've seen it, it happens. That's like saying two black guys should be an exciting fight because they're explosive and athletic.

See Rampage vs Rashad for details

Anderson pretty much had a nervous breakdown in the cage against Maia. Lots of people didn't like the clowning but that must have been scary as fuck for Maia to know the guy is good enough to clown around in a title fight and you're trapped in the cage while he might be losing his mind. It's not the same but since you mention it, two black guy usually do make for a good fight.

Wanderlei just gets pissy about Vitor because Vitor tenderized his face back in the day.

Well one thing is for sure. The post-fight pressers DEFINITELY have the most excuses.

I feel the same about his fight against Maia. Anderson looked very angry and frustrated.
