I think condom depot should be on more butts! But it was super surprising to see Barao have only two sponsors on his shorts. That's not right.

Weidman is gonna lose that belt.. Dillashaw could also lose it just as quickly as he got it.. Aldo is keeping that belt for sure more motivation now since he's the only Brazilian.

Prob the same reason that the US had historically the bulk of the boxing champs. When a sport is more popular in a country there is no surprise that the champs r from there.

Boxing champs are more diverse now due to popularity over the last century spreading out.

Mma is only very popular in 3 countries atm.

Which does what for Barao and the sponsors? Nothing...

Real superstars like Anderson, Machida, Belfort, Aldo, JDS dont have a problem getting Brazlian companies to sponsor them.

Barao just isnt marketable.

been saying this for ages - basically because the Unified Rules (the scoring/judging, the methodology, the rules) basically all future top guys will be great wrestlers period with the difference between fighters is who does the remaining bit of striking and submissions better than the other great wrestler

the scoring/rules/cage rewards/encourages/causes the evolution towards a certain prototype of fighter.

That being the wrestler/(kick)boxer, and its obvious a mile away - the only dude left is Aldo, and Mendes is ready...
 
Americans get to have Brazilian coaches, Brazilians hardly ever get to have American coaches.
Americans have easier access to good nutrition from an early age.
Americans have wrestling available for free.
Americans are better at strategizing , Brazilians have a tendency to just wing it.
The ufc is an American company.
 
They are using their MMA fighters to get rid of homeless people in preparation of olympics

The UFC, the promoter, has done a terrible job of marketing Barao as well.
