I think something i would be really interested in moving to Brazil after high school, or college if i go to college. I am wondering the job oppurtunities for foreigners, prices of accommodation, and also level of striking training Brazil offers. I would like to live in a more rural area, or smaller city. I am just not a Rio de Janeiro guy, lets just say that.

I know that you can stay in Thailand for around 10,000 dollars a year, training full time. I am a grappler, i am a dedicated wrestler, and I am started up BJJ. I did box in my childhood though. So i would like the oppurtunity of Thailand, just to fit my grappling, not training Muay Thai.

I am going to take a trip down there before i solidify any plans, to make sure it is a place i could enjoy living in. I don't need a very large apartment, so please take that into consideration, i am content with VERY little.

Thanks a lot guys.

wow that is an awesome website thank you so much!

you can find rooms much much more cheap than expensive apartments for tourists

you could probably find a really nice room for 400 - 700 reals in a nice house with kitchen/ living room/

206, from my understanding it is extremely hard for Brazilians with degrees to get jobs, and damn near impossible for a froeigner. Teaching english is not really an option in Brazil from what I have been told either. We have one forum member who went to Brazil, took his TEFL in Brazil, and couldnt get a job with it.

I am 25 adn graduated from college and the best advice I can give you is to go. Not because you can get a better job, just for the fact that it is a once in a lifetime experience and will be a great time in your life. That, and you can study abroad while you are in college and get student loans and grants to pay your way.
