When you're in there with an elite fighter like that who is outclassing you in every way, it must be a real confidence killer. But he'll be back. I give Rios a lot of respect for finishing until the final bell because the beating he was taking had to have made him think that it might be best to just lay down, but he kept going.

Rios has a good chin and a lot of heart, which can obviously take you pretty far, but I think this really brings into question what they are teaching over in Oxnard. Was Robert Garcia training Rios to move his head at all or just shouting at him to do it in between rounds?

You're being to hard with the kid. He didn't let go their hands for being afraid c'mon. He didn't because he's not that fast enough. It looks pathetic just because he isn't belong in the same ring with Manny. Once Manny adjust his strategy, he never became an easy target again for Rios in the entire fight. I'm aware of Manny's advantages over Rios. Everyone should have been.

I expected Brando Rios to be Brandon Rios. I thought he'd make a fight of it or get knocked out and based on his rep, thats not something I was out of line in expecting. I didn't expect him to turn into Josh Clottey after the first exchange. David Diaz gave Pac a better fight than Rios.
