I sprained my ankle about a month ago and I was wondering if boxing shoes would hold my ankle tight and good while working heavy bag, mitts and sparring. If so what boxing shoes would you recommend that are under 100$ ?

Yes. Hi-Tops are great, excellent ankle support. Brand doesn't really matter. Can't go wrong with Nike, Adidas. Don't buy Lonsdale though.

Go to your local big 5 and see what wrestling shoes they have. I got these from big 5 for like 50 bucks? been while so I'm not sure on the exact price. Never rolled my ankle in them. Used them for sparring, bag work, etc... all my boxing. They've held up.
