im a big fan of mma and im looking to learn some more about boxing. problem is, boxing has been around for so long that i dont really know where to start. any suggestions? fights to watch, or specific fighters to look up? anything like that.

Start with this weekends Showtime fights tonight and HBO fight tomorrow. Also a couple of fights on Espn tonight.

Nice answer, Lazy.

Everyone likes to post their favourite action fights in response to this question and I can't say I blame them. But throwing some in-ring brilliance into the mix can also be lovely to see for guys first getting into boxing.

It might be kind of hard to appreciate for a boxing noob, but ya never know. Definitely a sight to behold.
