What Mayweather vs Mcgregor 1 should have been in the first place. After Mcgregor got in there and boxed in a 12 rder in his boxing debut it's on Floyd to fight Conor in mma. This boxing with mma gloves thing doesn't make sense anymore, Conor stepped into his world now Mayweather should do the same or better yet forget about it all together.

With that said I'm hoping for Mcgregor vs Khabib next, fuck this exhibition match that means nothing garbage.

Why should Mayweather do the same when Conor chased Mayweather for a year for this boxing match?

Mayweather was the one that wanted it and he's the one who keeps talking about the rematch and is posting pics of himself with mma gloves and shit.

We already know that Mayweather wouldn't last 2 minutes with just kicks only in a limited K-1 rule set, so full MMA is going to be much worse for him. I don't think it would be fun to watch as it was when they boxed. People have to admit that it was pretty exciting.
 
Conor will fight him wrapped in pink siran wrap if it means another 100 million dollar payday

and I can't blame him for that

Well James Toney lasted more then 2 min on the ground in MMA.
 
And all of a sudden we're back to where we were this time last year.

Floyd is actually pretty good at compromising with his opponents even though he has all the power.

But you don't actually follow boxing, so you wouldn't know that
 
Not exciting, Mayweather wore a balaclava entering the ring, stating after words, it was a "heist" a robbery. and its us fans that pay the bill. the pair of them are taking the piss out of us!!!

When you've got money like that and just granted Conor his biggest payday EVER, you kinda have the right to have things go your way, lol.
 
Mayweather was a retired Boxer 13 years older than his opponent, and had not been in any type of professional sports activity in the previous 2 years. Mcgregor was an active fighter, in his prime, who had trained for years in Mayweather's sport.

Mayweather now has zero training in grappling, kicking, working in a cage etc... And has to start doing these things at age 41. Mcgregor is still 13 years younger than Mayweather, has been in training in disciplines Mayweather has not for years.

Mcgregor at least had a little advantage with his youth and less of a deficit in boxing ability, when he boxed Mayweather. Conversely Mayweather has no advantage in an MMA fight, and a complete deficit in the fundamental disciplines involved in MMA. I don't think a commission ethically should (they will of course) sanction a full MMA fight between Mayweather - Mcgregor.

I’m hadn’t heard about an offer to box with MMA gloves. That sounds dumb.

Either Floyd fights MMA or he doesn’t. No modified rules
 
Floyd will never take a fight where the risk is higher than the reward.

He wants to retire undefeated, and using MMA gloves would be a huge risk for him.
