Well, after paying hundreds and even thousands of dollars to sit there watching several fights of which mean nothing in their own ranking system because their top stars refuse to fight each other, and each meaningless fight going to a 12 round boring decision, they're extremely pissed off and angry so they take it out on anything they're asked about.

Boxing will never die no matter how popular MMA gets. Wanna know why? Because people will always want to watch a good old fashioned fist fight. The idea of two men standing toe to toe and hitting each other with their hands is something that will always interest the public. No, they do not air on ESPN three days after it happens, or a week, or a month, or ever. ESPN does not have access to HBO's archive. They have limited access to Showtime's, but Showtime has not been in the PPV business for years.
