So Boots is going to rematch Karen Chukhadzhyan in a couple weeks and then possibly fight Ortiz on this Riyadh card in February?

I forgot all about that forgettable rematch.
But now it gives Boots an edge, he only needs 8 weeks, so he’ll have some rest in between. He’ll be as finely tuned as he’s ever been come fight night. Might as well, he’s in his prime or approaching it swiftly, here’s his chance to prove he’s not a can crusher.
Ortiz is just an absolute killer in there. He may legitimately KO the shit out of Boots, struggled last time out, but he’s young, strong and growing in the ring with real stopping power. He’s also already at the weightclass this obviously is gonna be at.
We’ll see, but that’s a really good fight and Boots with the tune up in between gives him an edge imo.
Trying to stay positive, but this card seems too good to be true the more I go on here…

Gotta spread his mileage and risk of losing as thin as possible for as much return as they can get out of his surging name while it lasts. Names like Romans still stick in peoples minds, especially when it comes to the lower divisions, fight fans are lazy and won’t necessarily know the better fights that are out there.

I actually don’t mind the Bam/ Gonzalez fight, I think Roman has one more good showing in him, I don’t think he will look as bad as people are saying here.
I’m also on the fence about Ennis. Looks good when the opponent is tailor made but the reality is he just hasn’t fought ANYONE. He needs to beat someone good and look like he has in the past doing it before I’m willing to buy into the narrative any further, gotta take real chances to prove yourself.
