anyone else wanted to see both Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier move to heavyweight to fight the Champ Stime Miocic?

Stipe hasn't face any high level champion wrestlers like Jones or Cormier,DC or Bones needs to move to the Heavyweight Division

Stipe's power, size and anti-wrestling can pose problem for Bones or DC

I think DC would be able to clear out the HW division if he ever went back up.

People are going to use Jones' victory over LHW DC as proof that Jones would beat the top HWs. Just you wait.

DC is great And had some good wins at HW. He could probably be a top ten fighter, but to think he would crack top five, or even top 7-8 is unrealistic imo. First we need to see him fight the top guys.

I think DC would do better than Jones at HW, due to his power and wrestling.

Those people would be stupid. Not stupid for saying that Jones has potential at HW, but using DC as a barometer doesn't make sense. Of the top 10 HW's in the UFC, he has fought 1, Barnett. So saying that Jones could beat Stipe, Cain, Reem, JDS ect.. based off of DC's accomplishments makes no sense. This is a hypothetical argument that probably won't happen. And if it does, resist it.

Very selective of you.

Antonio Silva was coming off a win over Fedor when he got knocked out by DC. And this was before Silva was off TRT and before he had been knocked out by anyone at the elite level.

He also beat Mir, who has always hovered around the top 10.

And add in Roy Nelson, who was also a solid top 10 at the time.

If you want to go with the logic that only thing matters is what the current ranking of the opponents, then pretty much everyone sucks, even Jon Jones because his biggest wins were over Machida, Shogun, Sonnen, Vitor, Rampage, Rashad, all of whom sucks now.

No way, at the very least DC stays around top 3

I don't see what the big problem is for DC because he already showed he can take a punch and that his wrestling is top notch.

DC will be Top 6-10 at HW. The top guys all have great ground games and/or TDD and are far better strikers than DC. JBJ will do terribly at HW IMO. No power and the same reasons as above.

JBJ doesn't need power to compete at HW, just as long as his chin holds up which I'm sure it will. His technique will translate if he puts on some size.

DC has beaten up pretty much every good striker hes fought. Barnett, Bigfoot, Gus, and he did well against Jones standing, and finished 5 rounds unmarked. HW is full of mediocre strikers who are pretty slow. JDS is the only really good HW striker.

Completely disagree. He won't enjoy the same advantages he has at LHW and he won't have the power to keep the big guys from walking through him. He eye pokes and oblique kicks and elbows from just outside the range won't be anywhere near as effective as they are against smaller guys IMO.

Barnett and Silva can never be described as ''good strikers'' LOL. DC has basically beaten a bunch of slow old men at HW. He'd get shut down by the top guys.

Gus was a good win and even that was razor thin and he got dropped. If Overeem caught him with a knee for instance, he'd be counting stars.

I think DC is better suited to winning at HW than Jones. DC vs Stipe would be a good fight, not sure who would take it. I'm pretty sure Stipe beats Jones.

You are aware that Barnett and Bigfoot were top guys when DC beat them up? Gus and Jones are basically heavy weights anyway, both huge guys.

I think both of those guys realize there is no money to be made at heavyweight. Win streaks are hard to maintain at HW, and even a gatekeeper can knock you out with one punch. At LHW, it's a lot easier to build a legacy. If you can make the weight, it's the smarter career option.

They would both win...

Nobody DC fought at heavyweight tell me he would lay waste to the current top HWs. Frank Mir, Roy Nelson and Josh Barnett are not in the same realm as Werdum, Stipe and Reem. He'd definately be top 10. I don't think Jones does well at HW, JDS, Rothwell and Reem are loooong nights for Jones imo.
