Bonds forged through wars in the cage

I was checking out a few threads where pics were posted of JDS and Roy Nelson hanging out as friends and I thought to myself I wonder how many friendships are forged through wars in the octagon.

I think most of us when we were kids got in a fight with another kid and ended up being good friends afterwards.

Do you all have any other examples of true friendships being forged in the cage.

I.E. Sonnen/Okami, Barry/Cro Cop, Roy/JDS?

i've never experienced it, but i believe its as you said, a bond between men who earned eachother's respect on an almost primal level, but it doesnt happen very often, it takes mature men i think, such as family men like Roy and JDS
