A group of Bolivians in wheelchairs suspended themselves from a bridge in Cochabamba in an effort to call for an increase in subsidies for the disabled. According to local news reports, the protesters are asking for 500 Bolivian Boliviano, roughly 72 US dollars in monthly subsidies.

In 2012 dozes of disabled protested clashed with police, wanting an annual state subsidy of ~$400 / £254. They currently receive about 30% of that (not sure if this has changed since 2012). Several were injured during their attempt at breaking through a RIOT police cordon blocking them from entering the presidential square in La Paz.
